Everybody came to minicamp excited and looking forward to another minicamp and seeing all their friends again. The moment we got there, we were all welcomed by hugs and smiles and we dropped our things off in our cabins as we got prepared for the first activity of the weekend.
Kids Minicamp Report (9 – 13 yr olds):
Minicamp kicked off on Friday night with energisers and name games to get to know each other. Once we were all familiar with each other’s names, we got together to make our placemats for the following day. 21st September is International Day of Peace. To promote the day, some of our JBs came up with an activity; to give out balloons which had inspiring quotes from significant figures in the history. They’ve finished the day by visiting the kids at Starship Hospital to give them a little surprise. Good work, girls!
