CISV Auckland is a thriving (and growing!) chapter with over 100 families and a strong and active Junior Branch.
CISV Auckland usually sends two delegations per year to international programmes, and locally holds three weekend minicamps every year. As well as this we have several fundraising and social events as well as Junior Branch activities throughout the year.
In the past few years we have successfully hosted several programmes including a Village (2005-2006), a Summer Camp (One Whanau Summer Camp 2009-2010) and a Seminar Camp (2011-2012). Recently we have hosted a Village (It’s My Choice Village 2013-2014) which was a great success.
Auckland Chapter runs regular mini-camps. These are held on weekends and are held so that local children can come along and find out about CISV. We have an active Junior Branch for our older members aged 14- 25years of age. At our weekend mini-camps, our Junior Branch split off and work separately. They also organise other events throughout the year.
Each year Auckland Chapter aims to send away delegations to the various CISV programmes. Applicants must submit an application form by the specified deadline.
