Tēnā kotou, tēnā kotou, tēnā koutou katoa. Haere mai and welcome to the Christchurch CISV Chapter. Our beautiful city has been changed forever with the earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. However there is a range of activities for visitors to enjoy. Christchurch, or Otautahi has a diverse array of landscapes including pristine beaches, parks and forests, nearby mountains and ski fields and proximity to interesting towns such Hamner and Akaroa.
Our city is damaged but is looking forward to a state of the art rebuild over the coming years.The Christchurch community however is strong and resilient as we look forward to a new city to rise again.
Our CISV chapter is a small chapter with a big heart. We have a community of dedicated CISVers who are passionate about delivering the CISV message. We send delegations to camps regularly and our members participate in international training opportunities. The Junior Branch works hard to organize mini-camps and activities which make a difference in our community. We welcome new members to share the CISV experience with.
